Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about using CDoctorsTeams. If you need legal terms or privacy details, see the links at the bottom of this page.
Account and sign-in
How do I create an account?▼
Use Sign up from the login page. You can register as a patient or follow the professional path if you offer healthcare services. After registering, confirm your email if prompted so you can use all features.
I forgot my password. What do I do?▼
On the login screen, use “Forgot your password?” to receive a reset link (for accounts that sign in with email/password via our provider).
Why am I asked to verify my email?▼
Email verification helps protect your account and recover access. Patients may see account verification status in the profile area until the email is confirmed.
Profile and settings
Where do I edit my personal information?▼
After signing in, open Profile (sidebar or header, depending on your layout). You can update name, contact details, country, address, city, region/state, postal code, photo, and biography/summary where applicable.
Why does region/state show a list after I pick a country?▼
The profile form suggests official regions or states for the selected country so data stays consistent. If your area is not listed, you can still type it when the list is not available for that country.
What is professional verification?▼
Health professionals may be asked to submit documents (for example resume and license) from the Verification tab. An administrator reviews submissions. Until approved, some actions (such as offering consultations or publishing certain services) may be limited.
Appointments and consultations
How do I book an appointment?▼
Use New appointment (or equivalent) from your dashboard, pick a professional when required, choose date and slot, and complete the booking flow. You can also start from the medical directory when you view a clinician profile.
What consultation types exist?▼
Depending on configuration, professionals may offer online (video/audio/chat) and in-person options. Filters in the directory help you narrow by modality.
Where do I see my upcoming consultations?▼
Use Consultations / Record from the main navigation to see scheduled visits and related actions (such as joining a video room when available).
Telemedicine cancellation policy
What are the cancellation and refund rules?▼
The cancellation rules in the Terms and Conditions apply:
• 12+ hours before: 90% refund to the user, 10% to the professional.
• 11–6 hours before: 75% refund to the user, 25% to the professional.
• 5–2 hours before: 50% refund to the user, 50% to the professional.
• Less than 2 hours before: no refund; 100% to the professional.
Cancellations must be made only through the CDoctorsTeams platform.
Chat and messages
What is the difference between Chats and By appointment?▼
Chats lists direct and group rooms. By appointment ties conversations to a specific booked appointment when that workflow is enabled.
How do I start a direct message with a professional?▼
From the directory or clinician profile, use the option to start chat when available. The app opens or creates a DM room with that person. Both sides must be able to use chat according to platform rules.
Medical directory (Find professionals)
What is the medical directory?▼
It lets patients search for healthcare professionals who opted into directory visibility, with filters such as country, region, specialty, availability, and consultation type.
How do I view a professional profile or book?▼
Open View profile for full public information when available, or Book appointment to start the booking flow with that professional.
Medical history and clinical record
As a patient, where is my medical history?▼
Use My medical history from the health tools section. Content depends on what your care team has recorded and your permissions.
What is the clinical record (ficha clínica)?▼
It is the longitudinal clinical view for patients. Professionals with appropriate access use assigned patients and medical record sections to document encounters according to your organization’s workflow.
Services, care journeys, and marketplace
What are Services?▼
The Services area lists offerings from professionals and providers (for example programs or packages). You can browse and, when enabled, purchase or enroll according to each listing.
What are care journeys?▼
Patients can follow structured journeys (steps, content, milestones). Professionals may see marketplace-related cases when that module applies to their role.
Health tips
Where do health tips come from?▼
Tips are curated or published through an editorial workflow. Some content may be drafts until approved by an administrator. You can browse topics and articles from the Health tips section.
Live events
What are live events?▼
Organizers can create scheduled live sessions (topics, registration, optional payment flows). You can browse the catalog, register when open, and join from your live events area.
Privacy, terms, and subscription
Where are the Privacy Policy and Terms?▼
Use the links in the site footer: Privacy policy and Terms and conditions. They govern use of the platform and your data.
Where do I manage subscription or billing?▼
If your account includes paid plans, use the Subscription area under profile/settings when visible. Pricing information for new plans is also linked from the public site where applicable.
